Absolutely the perfect jam to enjoy this fall, and to use up all those Halloween pumpkins!
- lemon and orange peel
- juice of both fruits
- fresh ginger
- sugar
- pumpkin spice mix
- pumpkin puree
Instructions:
Place lemon and orange peel, ginger, sugar and pumpkin spice mix in a food processor, and grind until the ingredients are finely ground. In a large saucepan, add the ground ingredients, lemon juice, orange juice, and the pumpkin puree.
With the help of a wooden spoon, mix all the ingredients well. Start cooking the jam over medium heat. Bring the pot down to low heat if needed. Cook for about 30 minutes, or until the jam has reduced down to half the volume.
